ハンドソーンウェルテッド靴ができるまで⑧

    インソールに補強材（人間の背骨のようなもの）となるシャンクを取り付ける作業です。体重をしっかりと支え、正常な歩行を促すためのパーツです。

    石丸靴工房では金属のシャンクを使っていますが、作り手によって木や革のシャンクを使う場合もあります（入ってないこともある）。
    経年劣化や性能を考えると金属が適しているかもしません（作り手の考え方によります）。

    【シャンク取り付け】
    爪のついたシャンクに接着剤をつけ、しっかりとインソールに固定させます。
    インソールのカーブにシャンクを合わせることが重要です。
